Our Homes

ARC HD Services offers four homes; Brocklands near Whiteparish, Small Acres between Lymington and New Milton, Woodside between Salisbury and Andover and Meadow View near Fareham.

Brocklands

Brocklands sits in quiet and pleasant countryside, just a few miles outside Romsey. There is nearly three quarters of an acre of grounds amongst the tranquil countryside. The Home can accommodate three young people each benefitting from their own lounge and bedroom. There is also an additional room available for private therapy sessions or family visits.

The house has been carefully designed and arranged to provide a safe, welcoming environment whilst preserving the feel of a family home.

The furniture and furnishings within private spaces such as bedrooms and bathrooms are of a type which minimises the opportunity to self-injure.

The kitchen can be accessed by all young people and can be utilised in education, life skills or recreational programmes.

The grounds and gardens at Brocklands are a key feature of the home. Outside space includes:

Small Acres

Small Acres is in the quiet countryside close to Lymington in Hampshire. The house sits in an attractive quarter acre plot and is a half-mile from the sea. The surrounding area offers varied opportunities for therapeutic activities.

The Home offers three bedrooms, and extensive reception rooms which can be used communally or for private therapy and/or family visits, depending on the young people in residence.

Like Brocklands, the home has been arranged to provide safe, independent spaces whilst encouraging the feel of a family home. Also like Brocklands, the bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished with specialist fittings to minimise opportunities for self-injury.

The outside space at Small Acres is flexible enough to incorporate water features, small animals such as chickens, and growing space for fruit and vegetables.

Woodside

We opened our third home in August 2017, Woodside is situated in a small village between Andover and Salisbury. It is a quiet, tranquil environment surrounded by fields and beautiful walks. It is set in large gardens which can also accommodate poultry and a vegetable plot.

Woodside can accommodate three Young People, each benefitting from their own bedroom, lounge and shower areas. The Home also has several communal areas including a large Summer House that can be used for any number of activities or family visits. Like our other homes, the bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished with specialist fittings to minimise opportunities for self-injury.

Meadow View

Meadow View is situated just outside the village of Wickham in Hampshire. The village is a 15 minute walk away. It is a pretty village with a market square with shops and restaurants and the river Meon runs through it. Wickham is 5 miles from Fareham and sits between Southampton and Portsmouth both 10 miles away.

Meadow View can accommodate two young people, each benefitting from their own bedroom, lounge and shower facilities. The Home also has a communal lounge / dining room. Like our other homes, the bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished with specialist fittings to minimise opportunities for self-injury. There is also a spacious garden which is not overlooked.
